We’ll help you succeed

The firm is looking to recruit two Early in Career (EiC) Resourcing Administrators to support the EiC Team within the Shared Service Centre based in Liverpool. The role will assist with the provision of an efficient, effective and professional administrative support service to the firms EiC team.

Additionally the role will be responsible for providing 1st line customer support to our EiC candidates, to ensure they have a positive experience with BDO at every stage of the application process. During busy periods you will support the EiC Recruitment Coordinators in screening Video Interviews, as well as other duties detailed below.

Function Overview:

The BDO Early in Career (EiC) Resourcing team is responsible for hiring circa 600 students into our four key programmes each year; Graduates, Apprentices, Interns and Summer School. The EiC Resourcing function plays a critical role in ensuring the firm is attracting and selecting high quality, diverse candidates who have the potential to become the firm’s future Leaders. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience to both candidates applying for our programmes and our internal stakeholders; adding value at every stage of the process.

The BDO Early in Career team is based in London and recruits trainees across the whole of the UK, regularly attending regional offices and Universities to attract and assess our next generation of talent. You’ll also:

  • To provide an exceptional client experience within the firm, as well as being responsive and helping to create a positive impression at all touch points
  • Answering EiC phone line resolving FAQ’s and forwarding any complex cases/issue to relevant individuals
  • Answering EiC Inbox resolving FAQ’s and flagging any complex cases/issue to relevant individuals
  • Setting up Assessment Centre’s on the recruitment system – uploading Assessor and Candidates including CV’s, resolving last min drop outs
  • Adding Assessment Centre’s scores from the recruitment system into the Workday HR system.
  • Scheduling and sending calendar invites to; Partners conducting interviews, Assessors hosting presentations and assessing the group exercise and candidates taking part in the Assessment day.

  • Clear communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience of resourcing is advantageous
  • IT skills - excellent working knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications.
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Well presented with a professional approach
  • Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision
