You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively.  You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.


    The firm is looking to recruit an Assistant to join the Business Support Hub which is part of our Shared Service Centre (SSC).

    The Business Support Hub provides administration support to the wider business across all 16 locations nationwide. Services include document production, PA cover and business travel.

    This role does not necessarily require any previous office based experience, but will provide a solid foundation across many skills, for someone seeking a career as a Personal Assistant (PA).

    Responsibilities

    As an SSC Assistant, you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks including:

    • Creating important client packs; accuracy and attention to detail required for printing, scanning, binding client information
    • Maintaining client records in the firm’s CMS system
    • Preparing documents to a high standard in accordance with the firm’s brand/CVI guidelines
    • Drafting client take on forms in Intapp
    • Handling basic travel requests, booking trains and hotels

    Requirements

    • Basic to intermediate understanding of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good time management and organization skills
    • Good communication and collaboration skills
    • Willingness to learn with a growth mindset
    • Ability to use own initiative and take a flexible approach
    • Previous administration experience is advantageous but not essential
