We’ll broaden your horizons

Our Professional Qualifications Team (PQT) have a distinct role dealing with the management, advice and administration of all apprenticeship and professional qualifications. The ICAEW’s ACA qualifications and the exams of the AAT, ICAS and CIOT are the routes most commonly followed by our people. The PQ Advisor will support the Professional Qualification Senior Manager to achieve the firm’s qualification and apprenticeship strategy. This is an opportunity for a motivated and stakeholder focused individual to significantly contribute to the success of the professional qualifications team. Just as importantly, you will get the opportunity to develop your own skills and expertise. You’ll also:

  • Support Senior Manager with projects to achieve professional qualification strategy
  • Advisor for the ACA/CTA, ATT/CTA, CTA Qualification
  • Provide clear guidance and support to apprentices and trainees within their SBUs
  • Support new joiner induction days •Monitor and report on trainee progress to key stakeholders to support early intervention and exam success
  • Work with external training provider and institutes to ensure service levels are maintained at a high standard
  • Regularly communicate with stakeholders, undertaking webinars, presentations and PQ surgeries nationally
  • General query management, administrative support and data entry and analysis
  • Working with stakeholder to build relations and ensure timely communication of PQ activities
  • Institute training file analysis working with the team to communicate status and action •Ad hoc projects

  • Previous experience of working in a further education environment would be ideal but not essential
  • Experience with SharePoint systems
  • Strong proactive can do attitude
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and experience in collaborative working
  • Friendly and personable manner 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very detailed
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Experience of working with external vendors and managing billing, invoicing and service level agreements
  • Excellent IT skills
