As an Assistant Manager you'll join one of the key disciplines within Financial Services Advisory, the Prudential team. This team of experts focus on both FCA and PRA/FCA regulated firms.  

The team structure includes a clear identification of the different types of prudential service offerings and all regulatory thematic areas of expertise, which allows all team members to specialise as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or become champions in specific services. You'll be able to develop your understanding and expertise.

You’ll also:

  • Involved in client projects at all stages including proposal, budgeting, client engagement, project planning, resourcing, client liaison, execution, quality assurance, financial management (e.g. billing), completion.

  • Deliver high quality service in all types of projects including internal audit, advisory, skilled person reviews, due diligence work, training.

You’ll be someone with

  • Experience of prudential requirements and regulatory framework for banks or building socieites an advantage

  • Good understanding of the EU and UK financial services regulation, including the CRD.

  • Strong analytical skills including financial analysis

  • Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills

  • Experience in at least one of the following: ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan, Stress-Testing or, Model Governance. Some knowledge or experience in ESG/Climate Change risks would be highly beneficial

  • Educated at least to A Level standard or equivalent. Desirable - Professional qualification (eg. ACA, CFA, CISI/CII);
