Citizenship at BDO is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It is based on trust, flexibility and the belief that impact is personal. Some may focus on education or sustainability, others on health, social equity or local community action. Through 5+5, we create space for all of it.
My Action 5: Giving time where it counts
These five days are dedicated to action-oriented volunteering and fundraising. Whether it is getting involved in a local initiative, supporting a charity event, or taking part in a team giving day, our people can use this time to contribute directly to the causes they care about.
My Strategic 5: Using skills to create value
The second set of five days is about applying professional expertise for the benefit of others. This might involve helping young people with CV writing and interview preparation, supporting social enterprises, or using business skills to help a charity overcome a challenge. It is a chance to make a meaningful contribution through the work we do every day.
