Both routes are designed for university students who want to get a head start before they graduate. Whether you're looking for a full 12-month placement or a six-week summer internship, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues on real client work – and have the chance to fast-track into our graduate programme.
Which route is right for you?
Six-week summer internship
A six-week paid programme from July to August, open to penultimate year students. You'll gain an insight into BDO and the potential to fast-track to our graduate programme.
12-month placement
For penultimate year students looking for a full year of experience. You'll take on real responsibility, build your skills and be considered for a fast-tracked graduate offer. Your placement can take you further towards becoming professionally qualified. During your year with us, you can:
- Sit three professional exams
- Log six months of practical work experience with the relevant Professional Body
- If you return on our Graduate Programme, you can complete the remaining professional exams within a 2.5-year training agreement, recognising the experience you gained during your Industrial Placement.
