Our 12-month Industrial Placement Programme starts in September and will stretch your experience beyond the classroom, giving you early responsibility and purpose from the get-go. Working with a variety of companies and surrounded by talented minds who will help you succeed,you’llhave the chance to contribute to a range of exciting projects as part of an ambitious team.  

Join our Solution Design team and immerse yourself in the latest technology, engaging with senior members of the firm who look to us for innovative solutions. At BDO, we're proud to run four cutting-edge Innovation Labs, where we push the boundaries to enhance efficiency, quality, and revenue generation. As an Industrial Placement Solution Designer, you'll be supporting our IT Solution Designers, conducting technical research and developing proof of concepts. We embrace Agile principles, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into a collaborative environment where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the digital products of tomorrow.

We want you to thrive in a warm and welcoming culture where you can be yourself. Here's what we're after:

• A second year undergraduate university student on a four-year degree completing a work placement in your third year 
• A predicted 2:2 degree in any discipline 
• Three A-levels or equivalent at A* to C excluding General Studies and Extended Projects (obtained or predicted)  
• A 9 – 4 in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent (we will also consider qualifications from outside the UK)
• Capable of building prototypes and can write code when it’sneeded.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies is a bonus.
