Celebrating Pride Month at BDO
At BDO, we believe people perform at their best when they feel seen, valued and supported. Pride Month is an opportunity for us to reflect on the importance of inclusion, raise awareness of issues facing the LGBTQ+ community, and recognise the power of allyship in the workplace.
Across our UK offices, colleagues are coming together to mark the month through local events, discussions and educational initiatives, many of which are led by our LGBTQ+ network, PRIDE.

About PRIDE Network:
PRIDE is a network for employees and partners of all sexual orientations and gender identities, along with their allies. It exists to create a safe and welcoming space, helping colleagues feel confident in being themselves while supporting one another. Through in-person and virtual events, volunteering and ongoing conversations, PRIDE is helping to drive inclusion and connection across the firm.
The group is one of several employee-led networks at BDO that contribute to our inclusive culture. Each plays an important role in creating opportunities for dialogue, sharing lived experiences, and shaping how we work together with empathy and respect.

Creating an Inclusive Culture
At BDO, inclusion is a shared responsibility. From leadership through to every team, we are committed to ensuring that our people feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work. Recent feedback from our internal Listening Programme showed that 85% of our people agree that individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives can be themselves and thrive here.
While this is encouraging, we also recognise that inclusion is a journey, not a finished task. Pride Month is a valuable opportunity to reflect on where we are, listen to the experiences of our colleagues, and consider how we can continue to improve. Whether by attending events, taking time to learn, or showing up as allies, we are committed to making steady, meaningful progress together.
