Overview

As an Assistant Manager in the Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit) team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements, gaining experience in planning and delivering internal audit assignments and on regulatory advisory engagements. You will play an important role in developing and maintaining deep client relationships. You will have the opportunity to further develop specialist sub sector, technical and regulatory knowledge and will also have opportunities to work with and support the wider Financial Services Advisory team and its clients in London.

You'll be someone with:

  • Proven internal audit and/or regulatory assurance experience gained within, or working with, Financial Services organisations
  • A strong understanding of the Financial Services sector and the UK regulatory environment
  • Experience delivering a range of internal audit and advisory assignments, with a sound understanding of internal audit methodologies, frameworks and techniques
  • A recognised professional qualification and/or membership such as ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or CIIA. Alternative relevant qualifications will also be considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, engage and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to lead complex reviews, manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
