The role of ERP Test Lead is to lead a team of IT Testers and orchestrate IT and Business Testing activities through the full testing lifecycle.

In this busy and rewarding role you’ll:

• Provide Testing subject matter expertise to the ERP Platform.
• Orchestrate Tester activities through the full system development lifecycle within the context of an Agile delivery framework namely, Test Planning, Test Preparation, Test Execution & Results recording and Test Completion.
• Ensure features to be tested are risk & impact assessed for the appropriate level of functional, data driven, integration, nonfunctional testing (within the scope of the ERP Test Team accountabilities), regression testing, test automation and Business and IT Acceptance Testing.
• Develop and maintain test metrics and provide a range of stakeholders including the Product Owners, IT & Business Reps and the Test Manager with status, progress and quality reports.
• Perform hands on test execution where it is required.
• Ensure Test Environments and Test Data meet the needs of the testing by working with the Environments Management function.
• Track, report, and manage Defects through their lifecycle from inception to closure including the capture of root cause analysis.
• Schedule testing and test resource.
• Document, review, track and manage Testing RAID items.
• Adopt risk-based testing approaches and ensure testing is optimised and not maximised.
• Drive the shift left of ERP Testing and enable test automation in the pursuit of fail fast and fix quick.
• Participate in and contribute to all ERP Agile Ceremonies.
• Introduce and seek further improvements within the team in the pursuit of wider process improvement initiatives.
• Actively seek to demonstrate ways of working and embrace those of other teams in adoption of new Agile practices.
• On a day-to-day basis you will be:
  • Participating in Daily Scrum Meetings.
  • Orchestrating Testing across the various teams.
  • Supporting Test preparation and execution & results recording including Defect Management.
  • Ensuring testing artefacts are maintained within the Test Management Tool.
