BDO Regulatory Solutions is part of the BDO UK LLP Financial Services Advisory Practice. Helping our clients succeed is our core purpose, by transforming their operational performance. You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

In this role you’ll be responsible for leading the provision of a proactive resourcing service and ensuring that all resourcing objectives are achieved whilst ensuring that the Resourcing service is at all times forward thinking, customer and candidate focused.

You’ll be expected to co-ordinate and collaborate with contract development and account management colleagues whilst also contribute to the development of a range of resourcing initiatives, objectives and achievements for resourcing client projects, This role also involves the line management and coaching of the resourcing team, leading by example and ensuring company standards are maintained.

  • Manage the Resourcing team, including any recruitment, performance management and carrying out 1-2-1s and appraisals in line with the company policies.
  • Identify and recruit qualified candidates by engaging in a range of sourcing activities that include but are not limited to: social media channeling, database search, recruiting calls, attending seminars and networking events.
  • Be responsible for leading and managing for the delivery of resourcing projects against the defined client requirements.
  • Be responsible for developing and overseeing the delivery of specialist recruitment campaigns and assessment centres as required.
  • Define, agree and deliver best practice recruitment approaches and processes.
  • Improve and maintain quality standards across resourcing, ensuring that candidate experience is maximised.
  • Work proactively with Account Managers and other stakeholders as required to understanding a forecast future resourcing requirements by account and oversee and conduct talent pooling to support this.
  • Identify and resolve risks and issues which impact recruiting activity, analyse and recommends action plans to meet intake requirements, taking into account internal and external variables.
  • Act as a trusted talent acquisition specialist taking ownership for the successful conclusion of projects, monitoring effectiveness of resourcing processes and suggests improvements, as appropriate.
  • Deliver results against client and company SLAs, KPIs and objectives.
  • Build and maintain a database of viable candidates to fill current and future talent pipelines.
  • Proactively and consistently feedback to stakeholders and the organisation as a whole on observed market trends and build market intelligence to support resourcing plans.
  • Report on performance against action plans/timelines for assigned sourcing projects.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by the company.

You’ll be someone with:

  • A strong ability to build effective relationships at many levels and be an ambassador for the company internally and externally.
  • High level of ambition to succeed with a practical ‘can-do’ mentality.
  • Ability to inspire and lead talent acquisition campaigns.
  • Management/supervisory experience.
  • A range of influencing skills, personal impact and communication skills that will ensure success and command credibility at all levels within the company.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision, in an autonomous and independent way.
  • High levels of attention to detail, and exemplary writing and use of grammar.
  • Competent in the use of information systems, including Applicant Management systems.
  • Experience of using project management skills.
  • A good understanding and practical experience of volume recruitment, preferably within financial services - an advantage, but not essential.
